A mentor shouldn’t be what you’re waiting on to win.
Mentorship is really important, but in many cases, people in business use it as a crutch. They blame their inability to move forward on lacking someone who plays the role of a coach in their business.
Mentors are great, but you can find a lot of community and encouragement from people in the same shoes that you’re in or a different industry. For example, you can connect with people right here at SUCCESS; help each other, give each other advice, get that one-on-one connection.
So if you’re holding back because you don’t have a mentor, take a leap forward instead and take advantage of the resources you have right in front of you. Because what’s going to make your business win… is you.
