If an unthinkable tragedy were to occur in your life, how would you react? The lives of Len and Cherylann Gengel were never the same after their daughter was killed in the 2010 Haiti earthquake. Despite their loss, the Gengels didn’t give up hope. The two now work tirelessly to fulfill their daughter’s dream of uplifting the children of Haiti.

“People are really good. It’s just simple like that. I always had faith in our brothers and sisters, but people that we don’t even know across this world, they’re willing to help us help the children of Haiti. To me, it’s just one of the most beautiful things that I’ve ever seen and they’re helping keep our daughter’s spirit alive. It’s really just absolutely beautiful.”
