The Shocking Cost of Funerals: How to Honor Your Loved One Without Breaking the Bank

RR S.COM FEATURES 5

It’s hard enough to cope with the loss of a friend or family member, much less the sticker shock that comes with laying them to rest. This week, Julien and Kiersten Saunders (@richandregular) give a line-by-line review of common funeral costs and several tips to help curb some of the expenses.

There are a plethora of funeral costs to be considered when planning, from basic services to a wake to flowers to the headstone. Although costs can be prepared for or shared among family, it is still a large expense, and one that is better planned far in advance. Alongside discussing those costs, Julien and Kiersten discuss alternatives to burial, options for covering the cost and their own opinions on—and experiences with—funeral planning.

Rich & REGULAR with Kiersten and Julien Saunders is no longer releasing new episodes on the SUCCESS Podcast Network, but you can still listen to the full conversation below.
