How AI Is Shifting Our Identities with Alejandro Navia

AI won’t replace your job, says Alejandro Navia, co-founder and president of nft now. Rather, it’s a tool for enhancing human knowledge. But there will be an identity crisis as many of us align our identities with our jobs. Navia says there will be a new search for meaning and we will start to see a renaissance in human creativity and ingenuity.

“There’s going to be a new level of truth finding that we may not understand yet that may potentially unlock the next level of creativity for human capacity,” he says in today’s episode.

Although we’re still in the early days of AI, with even ChatGPT proving to have issues, Navia and Brilliant Thoughts host Tristan Ahumada discuss the concerns over what’s going to happen to our identities and mental health as AI continues to advance. To combat these fears, Navia speaks to the power of journaling and being in harmony with yourself and the environment.

“It’s a war on our attention—there are probably four platforms that I can think of that most people check before they even check in with themselves in the morning,” he says.
