We all know people who are great at managing stress, who are really good under pressure. And it’s those people who are more willing to help people out. Why do they have more energy to give?

It’s not that these people are better at managing their stress—it’s that their attitudes toward helping others gives them more energy, which helps them manage their stress.

“The next time you feel overwhelmed or stressed, sometimes you need to take care of yourself—sometimes you can get more energy, more stress reduction by focusing on helping other people,” he says. “Do that, and I guarantee you will have more energy, less stress and be much more successful.”
