On March 4th, someone broke into the SUCCESS.com admin dashboard and published racist hate speech on our homepage, and sent a newsletter. Our flagship media property, defaced with content designed to cause maximum brand damage.
 I pointed our AI at the technical problem. While Claude worked the code, our team worked the people side. We reached out to staff about the breach, coordinated with corporate security at eXp, talked through the response with our partners, and managed the communications that a crisis like this demands. The human side of a breach is its own full-time job.
 On the technical side, we had content filters blocking the offensive posts within four minutes. Over the next 90 minutes, Claude rewrote our authentication system under my direction: killed password-based login, replaced it with email-based one-time codes restricted to specific addresses, added server-side content moderation, locked down newsletter sends to admin-only, and enforced domain restrictions across every entry point. It then generated a 253-line root cause analysis that traced the probable attack vector.
 Nobody on our team wrote a line of code that afternoon. Nobody diagnosed the breach manually. Nobody drafted the incident report. Claude handled the technical remediation while we handled the human response. Our corporate security team at eXp reviewed the report and praised the response.
 Most leaders hire consultants for something like this, schedule war rooms, spend a week on the postmortem. We had the site secured, the auth system rebuilt, and the forensic report in hand before dinner.

 <h3>My Tuesday</h3>
 I run eXp World Holdings and SUCCESS Magazine. I capture meetings through FrameVR and Plaud, two tools that record and transcribe conversations in real time. I drop those transcripts into a Google Drive folder.
 I feed Claude the transcripts. It extracts decisions and action items, then updates our strategy documents and project trackers. I haven’t sorted through meeting notes since January. Before the workflow, that consumed four or five hours every Monday.
 I also use Claude’s Chrome extension to pull data from our internal systems, platforms I’d check one by one without it. It updates project boards, drafts communications I can review and send. I describe a question, like a competitive analysis or a revenue model comparison, and it goes and gets the data.
 A separate WordPress story: our hosting provider swapped hardware and the site crashed. Our internal admin team spent 24 hours on it. They couldn’t fix it. I pointed Claude at the problem through the Chrome extension and walked away. Forty-five minutes in, it had diagnosed a corrupted .htaccess file, rewritten it, and run automated tests until the site loaded clean.

 <h3>Where we keep control</h3>
 We hand over meeting notes, strategy updates, data gathering, incident response, communications drafts, competitive research, and system administration. But we keep people decisions with us.
 Last month I spent an hour on the phone with a coaching recruit. He burned out at his previous company. He was talented, exhausted, skeptical. He needed proof this opportunity was different, and I gave him that. I make those calls in rooms, in VR, on the phone. I’ve built two companies that run on trust, and trust forms between humans.
 The team, the human team, manages the creative vision. We collaborate on what SUCCESS Magazine means in 2026 going into 2027. We choose the covers, set editorial direction, and protect the point of view. AI handles research and early drafting of ideas. But the human team makes the decisions that make SUCCESS what it is: a platform to uplevel humanity through thought leadership. Real thought leadership, the thoughts-are-things kind.
 AI will never make those decisions. It has no feelings. It has no consciousness in the way a human being does. It can process, optimize, and execute. It cannot care about the person on the other end of a coaching call. It cannot feel whether a magazine cover carries the right weight. Those are human calls, and they always will be.

 <h3>What changed</h3>
 The Industrial Revolution, and most of human history before it, was built on turning people into employees in service of a hierarchy. Turn them into machines. Show up, follow the process, repeat. For two hundred years, being a good worker meant being a reliable machine.
 AI can do the machine work now. The filing, the cross-referencing, the system administration, the troubleshooting, the data gathering. All the tasks we used to assign to people not because people were good at them, but because machines were not yet good enough.
 Before this setup, I burned entire days on that kind of work: finding documents, cross-referencing notes, updating trackers, checking dashboards. I called it leadership. It was busywork. Now I spend that time recruiting the right people and making creative bets on content and partnerships. I make fewer mechanical decisions per day. The ones I make carry more weight. The ones that only humans can make.

 <h3>Start with one change</h3>
 Record your next meeting. Drop the transcript into any AI tool. Ask it to pull out the decisions you made and the action items attached to each. Then compare that output to your own notes.
 You’ll find gaps you missed. You’ll remember the conversation differently than the transcript shows. That changes your next meeting.

 I’m writing to you personally because yesterday, March 4, an unauthorized individual gained access to the SUCCESS.com admin system and sent a newsletter containing racist, offensive language—including fabricated quotes falsely attributed to our valued contributors.
 This content did not come from SUCCESS Magazine, our editorial team, or any of our contributors. It was the work of an attacker who exploited a vulnerability in our system. The content was hateful, inexcusable, and stands in direct opposition to everything SUCCESS represents.
 I want to be clear: the offensive quotes attributed to our contributors were entirely fabricated. These are people we deeply respect and whose real work embodies the values of growth, leadership, and human potential that have defined SUCCESS for 128 years.

 <h3>What happened</h3>
 On the afternoon of March 4, an unauthorized individual accessed our admin dashboard and used it to publish offensive content on our website and send at least one newsletter containing hate speech. Within two hours, we:

 <li>Locked down the admin system</li>
 <li>Replaced our entire authentication system to prevent future unauthorized access</li>
 <li>Deployed content moderation filters as an additional safety net</li>

 <li>Added server-side content moderation—Offensive language is now blocked at the system level before it can be published or sent</li>
 <li>Restricted newsletter sending—Only senior administrators can now send newsletters</li>

Dear SUCCESS family,
 I’m navigating something right now that I believe a lot of leaders are—and the playbooks are just now being written.
 Scaling a business has always meant scaling trust. You have to trust people with ownership, with decisions, with outcomes you can’t fully control. That’s hard enough on its own.
 But now there’s a second trust layer, and it’s changing leadership entirely.
 Recently at SUCCESS, we’ve shifted to a Single Threaded Leader model where each team member owns their domain end to end. We’ve been working toward this model for years, however now with the advent of AI it’s become a reality. We’re not waiting for permission. We’re building—real platforms, real products, real systems—and most of the team is using AI as their primary tool in their arsenal.
 Trust isn’t just trust in people—it’s also trusting the robots more and more. It means identifying individuals with their own level of discernment and wisdom, and trusting them to make the right calls within their domain. When they’re off track, I try not to take over—I try to ask better questions. We’re also working to create a culture of sharing and solving between team members.
 Our team does the exact same thing with AI. They coach it. They nudge it. They use their judgment to steer it toward better output than either of them could produce alone—and in a fraction of the time.
 I’m learning how to trust people with more autonomy. My team is learning how to trust AI with more of the process while keeping their hands on the wheel. In both cases, the magic isn’t in the control. It’s in the quality of the coaching.
 The thing that keeps hitting me is this: the ability to guide without micromanaging, to trust without abdicating, to know when to nudge and when to let it run—that’s the same skill whether you’re leading people or working with AI.
 Wisdom and judgment aren’t being replaced. They’re being pushed throughout the organization. The person who knows what to build and why it matters will always outperform the person who’s just fast at building. AI handles the speed. Humans supply the discernment.
 I’m still learning this myself. Every day I fight the urge to jump in and do it for someone. But I’m watching a team of owners emerge—people getting better at leading and better at leveraging AI at the same time—and I honestly don’t know where the ceiling is on that.
 Scaling trust isn’t a one-time decision. It’s a daily practice. And right now, I think it’s the most important skill any leader can develop.

I rebuilt JimRohn.com last week. The whole thing. In under 10 hours.
 I know that sounds like I’m exaggerating. I’m not.
 And honestly? That’s not even the point I want to make. The point is what it felt like—and why I think you might recognize the feeling.
 You know that moment when something clicks? When a tool or an idea or a conversation suddenly makes you realize the rules have changed, and you’re one of the first to notice?
 I’ve had that feeling a handful of times in my life. The first was in 1977, sitting in front of an Apple II computer at age 10, realizing that this machine was going to change everything—even though the adults around me still thought “real computing” meant mainframes. I had it again in the early ’90s when I started posting stock picks on America Online and people actually showed up. Again in 2009, when financial necessity forced us to close our real estate offices, and we discovered we didn’t actually need them.
 Last Tuesday, I had it again.
 I was staring at the WordPress backend of JimRohn.com—a site that’s supposed to honor the grandfather of personal development—and I thought: Jim Rohn deserves better than this.
 So I opened up Claude Code alongside Google’s new platform called Antigravity—an “agentic IDE” that lets you orchestrate AI agents across your editor, terminal, and browser simultaneously. Google released it for free just a couple months ago. I told the agents what I wanted to build, and we started building it. Together. Right then.
 Ten hours later, we had the complete platform architecture. The public site. The foundation for membership tiers and video streaming. An AI coach that will be trained on Jim’s actual philosophy. E-commerce infrastructure. The works. Something that would have taken an agency months to scope, let alone deliver—and we’re just getting started rolling out the features.
 Here’s the thing: What I did last Tuesday wasn’t magic. It wasn’t even particularly special. These tools—Claude, Antigravity, dozens of others—they’re available to anyone reading this email. Most of them are free or close to it.
 That’s what stopped me in my tracks.
 Jim used to say, “The same wind blows on us all. The difference is in the setting of the sails.”
 But here’s the thing: The wind hasn’t just changed—it keeps changing. Every week. Every day, sometimes. Faster than we can fully comprehend one shift before the next one arrives. By the time you’ve processed what ChatGPT means for your business, Claude has leapfrogged it. By the time you’ve wrapped your head around that, Google releases an entirely new way to build software and gives it away for free. The change after that has already moved past the change you haven’t yet comprehended.
 This isn’t change management anymore. That concept assumed you had time to assess, plan, and adapt—that you could study the new landscape before you moved through it. That’s over.
 Now it’s about learning to move while the ground moves beneath you. Adjusting your sails not once, but continuously—sometimes midsentence.
 I talk to business owners, executives, entrepreneurs every week who are still waiting. Waiting to see how AI “shakes out.” Waiting for someone to tell them it’s safe. Waiting for the perfect strategy before they take the first step.
 I understand the instinct. The noise around AI is deafening. Every headline is either “this will destroy everything” or “this will save everything.” It’s exhausting.
 But here’s what I know from 47 years of building things: The people who win aren’t the ones who predict the future correctly. They’re the ones who develop the capacity to adapt when the future arrives—and keeps arriving.
 Jim had another way of saying it: “For things to change, you have to change. For things to get better, you have to get better.”
 That’s always been true. What’s different now is the velocity. Change used to be an event. Now it’s the environment.
 I didn’t rebuild JimRohn.com because I needed to prove something about AI. I did it because Jim Rohn’s ideas—about discipline, about self-education, about becoming the person who attracts success—deserve a platform that matches their importance. And I realized I no longer had to wait for someone else to build it.
 That’s the real gift of this moment. The barriers are lower than they’ve ever been. The tools are more powerful than they’ve ever been. The only question is whether you’re willing to change alongside them.

 The gap between knowing and doing—that’s the only problem that actually matters. And most of this industry has been treating it like a feature, not a bug.

 <h3>What actually changed</h3>
 People still want to grow. Better marriages. Better businesses. Better health. That hasn’t changed.
 What changed is patience.
 Nobody’s willing to pay for inspiration anymore. They want traction—measurable progress in their actual lives, not just their aspirations.

The past few weeks have been wild. Claude Opus 4.5 dropped today. Gemini 3.0 landed last week. ChatGPT 5.1 came right before that. The pace isn’t just fast anymore. It’s relentless.
 Here’s what I’m learning: Each model has its own strengths. Claude Opus 4.5 has become my thinking partner for coaching frameworks and deep work. Gemini 3.0 is crazy-fast at multimodal reasoning, but Google Antigravity cuts you off after about 30 minutes, which makes it tough to use for real work sessions. GPT-5.1, especially inside Lovable for what I call “vibe coding,” feels like it reads my mind.
 Then there’s the creative layer: Sora, Veo 3, HeyGen, Glif, Gamma.app, NotebookLM. These tools have reached a point where you can take an idea and prototype something meaningful in an afternoon. Not a rough sketch. Something real. We’re watching creativity become the new form of leverage, and it’s happening faster than most people realize.
 I’ve been following a couple of thinkers closely lately. Greg Isenberg is doing interesting work on community products in an AI-native world. Julian Goldie brings tactical clarity to growth and audience building that cuts through the noise. What they’re both showing is that community plus AI isn’t just a nice combination—it’s the business model that’s going to dominate the next decade.
 The biggest shift I’m seeing? Speed isn’t the advantage anymore. Direction is. When AI moves this fast, leadership becomes less about having all the answers and more about having clarity, running experiments, and learning alongside your community.
