SUCCESS Talks Collection February 2016

The SUCCESS Talks Collection is a monthly compilation of in-depth interviews found in every issue of SUCCESS magazine. You can listen to the entire episode here, exclusively on, or hear these interviews as individual weekly episodes on the new SUCCESS Talks podcast, available on iTunes, Stitcher or your favorite podcast app. Find extended shownotes exclusively on weekly.

In this month’s edition (58 mins), SUCCESS talks with Lakewood Church pastor Joel Osteen about blocking out the negative noise to discover your purpose and Shark Tank’s Lori Greiner shares her secret to sizing up an idea or product.

Joel Osteen on Fulfilling Your Purpose

“Negative thoughts will really try to push you down, so talk to yourself the right way. If you don’t talk to yourself the right way, then your self will talk to you.”

“Your life follows your thoughts.” These are the words of Joel Osteen, best-selling author and pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston. In his interview with SUCCESS Editor-in-chief Josh Ellis, Osteen shares an array of motivation and inspirational thoughts. For him, life comes down to fulfilling his purpose of helping people, and he wants to help you do the same.

Lori Greiner on Being a Hero Not a Zero

“I can instantly tell if a product is going to be a hero or a zero.”

Meet Lori Greiner, “the warm-blooded shark” on the hit ABC show Shark Tank. A prolific inventor of retail products, Greiner built her empire from the ground up through old-fashioned elbow grease and willpower. “I never really set out to be an entrepreneur. I just was always thinking of ideas,” she says. Today she has created over 450 products and her own show on QVC. Greiner spreads her knowledge by investing in entrepreneurs whom she sees as potential heroes.

SUCCESS Talks features fascinating interviews with prominent business, creative and thought leaders such as Tony Robbins, Anne Sweeney, Richard Branson, Tim Ferriss and Barbara Corcoran. SUCCESS Talks focuses on helping the listener nurture and develop their mind, body and spirit. Each month is thematically different and includes key takeaways designed to help you achieve your biggest goals and live your true passion.
